L'Entrepot Announces a Special Event to Celebrate its 10th Anniversary
Maplewood, New Jersey - L'Entrepot, a design source and antique furniture warehouse located in downtown Maplewood is celebrating its tenth anniversary. For the past decade, L'Entrepot has been a hidden gem for interior designers and discerning consumers looking for high-quality, one-of-a-kind furnishings.
Tucked away between Maplewood's train and fire stations, L'Entrepot will celebrate ten years in business by throwing a party from 12 - 5 on Sunday, December 6th. This event is open to the public and will feature antique furniture and a variety of top-notch interior design vendors such as: high-end rugs from The Creative Touch and decorative painting services from Joan Sweeney. In addition, food and refreshments will be provided and discount pricing is being offered on selected items.
L'Entrepot is owned and operated by Linda Kennedy, a longtime Maplewood resident who has extensive experience in scouting and acquiring timeless and unique antiques from all corners of the globe. Inside L'Entrepot, one will find a wide assortment of armoires, chairs, sofas, tables, chests, chandeliers, mirrors, rugs, and other accessories for the home with origins from places like France, England, Italy, Sweden, and China.
This broad spectrum of antiques reflects Kennedy's design sensibilities, which can be described as eclectic. When asked to describe her design preference Kennedy said, "Everyone who comes into L'Entrepot has their own unique personality and I believe that their living space should reflect that individuality, not some cookie-cutter sense of style." Those venturing into L'Entrepot should also be aware that Kennedy is also an interior designer with over ten years of experience. By mixing different styles and periods of design, Kennedy aims to create an element of "unexpected, but pleasant surprise" - allowing clients to express their individuality while fully engaging all those who enter into their homes.
When asked to describe the experience of working with L'Entrepot's owner, one client said, "Linda has a way with mixing antiques and new pieces to create a look that is unique, interesting and stands the test of time. Six years later, Linda and I are still collaborating on various rooms in my house and I know that the end result will be beautiful, classic and one-of-a-kind."
